Saving Space in the Kitchen
If you don't already have one, install a wall mounted spice rack. This will free up space in a cabinet or the pantry.
Use a larger size plastic box or bin to store the lids for your resealable plastic containers and nest the containers one inside the other.
Consider installing small hooks to hang mugs from underneath a cabinet instead of inside.
Use magnetic hooks on the fridge to hold an oven mit or pot holders. This can free up valuable drawer space.
Is kitchen drawer space at a premium? Get a pretty flower pot and place somewhere on the counter to store your serving flatware and cooking utensils. (Weed out the ones you rarely use and keep only old, reliable favorites at hand.)
Double your storage space by using small wire racks on teh pantry shelves. These racks are also great for doubling freezer space (if your freezer doesn't already have a shelf).
