Saving Money on Baby Expenses
Babies bring lots of joy - and lots of expenses! Below you'll find some simple ways to cut down some of the costs.
If you opt to find out the sex of the baby in advance, take advantage of the extra time knowing by scouring thrift stores and clearance racks well in advance. (If you purchase new clothing, remember to keep the tags attached and all the receipts just in case you're in for a big surprise come delivery day!)
If you're enjoying two incomes while you're waiting for baby to arrive, consider purchasing diapers in advance or loading a store gift card for future baby-related purchases. It'll be much easier to afford it now and it'll make the cut in income easier to take later on.
Not quite up to making your own baby food, but would still enjoy some of the savings? Purchase regular canned fruit and veggies (packed in water) and puree yourself. No cleaning or cooking needed, but you still reap the some of the savings.
